Fun times

Today at work, I:

- got kicked in the eyeball by my immediate supervisor. We were swimming and having an underwater flip contest and he flipped his heel right into my eye socket.

- got a "tattoo" from a five year old. He took four Legos that he had stuck together and pushed them into my leg until it left a mark.

- laughed so hard I snorted

- got mistaken for a 12 year old by a parent. . . AGAIN.

That last one has got to stop. Seriously, I just sent in my contract to be a HIGH SCHOOL teacher and I'm getting mistaken for 12 year olds? Ugh. I suppose it was worse when the waitress at the restaurant two weekends ago gave me a children's menu. My aunt and uncle laughed their asses off and I pouted and asked for a "real menu".

I look young, yes. But THAT young? I gotta grow my hair back out. People thought I looked young with long curly blonde hair, but jaw length curls seem to make it even worse.

I know, I know. Later on in life, I'm going to be grateful for this. Um, I'm not thinking it's going to work out that way. I'll look 12 until I'm 30 and then BAM - I'll instantly start looking twice my age. That's just the way it'll happen.
