I gave up TV for Lent.

And cussing. I've already sworn twice, but no tv has been watched!

And it's 8 o'clock and I'm going to bed. After I was the ashes off my forehead.

Lent is an interesting time of year. The priest at my church claims to "love it!" even though he hates fasting. I love my new church.

PS. Going to bed at 8 has little to do with my no-tv boredom. I am an old, old lady who needs 8 or 9 hours of sleep. Man, I wanted to type a swear in front of "hours".

This is going to be a long 40 days.
