Certain things are just tied irrevocably to certain people

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I just had the greatest meal ever assembled ever. Corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, soda bread and beer.

Man, I know I eat corned beef and cabbage on other days of the year, but it just tastes better on St. Paddy's Day.

Thank goodness my family is Irish.

My poor roomie is a Frenchie so this was the first time she'd ever had any of that stuff! What a sad, deprived life she's lived to this point!

I'll leave you with this, my friends:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

My granddad always used to make sure he used that blessing at least once each time we saw him.
