2009-06-02 - 4:43 p.m. Remember that test I had to take to get my full teaching license? (I currently have an "interim" license) Maybe you don't remember, I might not have mentioned it. Anyway, I had to take this test in April to prove I know my shit in the English world. It was a stupid 120 questions multiple choice test, asking ridiculous questions like [random literature passage] Who wrote this? What work is it from? Well, apparently I rock at ridiculous random literature canon questions because I got a big certificate in the mail today saying I earned the "recognition of excellence" award for scoring in the top 15% of all test takers. It didn't say my score, though, so I went online and found out I got a 200. Which is 8 points more than what you need to get the ROE award AND apparently a perfect score, despite the fact that in the breakdown of the questions, I did miss eight of them. Apparently those eight are easily overlooked because the possible score range is "100-200". And I'm bragging shamelessly, I know. But suck it up because this is MY diary, and I will boast without remorse about my scores on a test that almost none of you will ever, ever take. Go me and my "perfect" score! Woot. |
