Today, though, I did fix my bike and go for that bike ride. Which was great. And fairly terrible because the trail is very nature-y . . . okay, it's completely nature-y. I'm out in the middle of f-ing nowhere on my bike and my eyes and nose are gushing like faucets on my face. I am allergic to everything. My self-imposed internal exile in the house for the past week made me forget that. I cut the ride short and get home after only 50 minutes, wheezing, honking, oozing and looking like I've been punched in the face. Ick. Those allergy black eyes are really unattractive and here's hoping they go away soon. I'm really bummed, though, because as you all should remember, I love my bike and love riding it. The outdoors are unfortunately necessary for said riding. Also, while I'm complaining about strange reactions to things, I Naired my legs last night. Or half of my legs. Because after I wiped off the top halves of my legs, they swiftly broke into hives and then STARTED BLEEDING! WTF?! It looked like someone had taken a hair brush, only the bristles on this brush happen to be needles, and beat my thighs with it. Right. In other news, I cannot stop having dreams/nightmares about my students. The other night, they tormented me to the point where I backhanded a kid so hard he fell out of his seat. I woke up screaming "That's right! I am allowed to hit you! So sit down, Chase, and WRITE YOUR ESSAY!". Um? What?! It actually really, really disturbed me. Especially since the child I bitch slapped is one of my favorite students in real life. I adore that kid and I backhanded him to the floor! Dear God! This bodes ill, friends.
